Due to a possible Salmonella contamination, Gretchen’s Shoebox Express has announced the recall of their Almond Butter, as well as their Cinnamon Apple & Almond Butter Sandwiches under the Evolution Fresh Brand. No illnesses have been reported yet. A Salmonella infection can be fatal under the right circumstances, but even less serious contamination cases can lead to fever, vomiting, and other unpleasant side effects.
