Emergency Aid Kicks Into Gear in Cohasset, Massachusetts

Posted on October 30, 2012

The Community Emergency Response Team has been mobilized in Cohasset, Massachusetts in order to help those persons who have been negatively impacted by Hurricane Sandy.  Volunteers with the group were out on Monday in a bid to get in touch with select persons in the community to make sure they had the essentials that would allow them to survive the storm.  A Visual Emergency Notification System can be used by residents to seek help.  By hanging a sign in their window, persons signify to emergency responders that they should be checked on during a disaster.  Elder Affairs also helped contact those in need.
