40 RV Trailers Recalled by Jayco Over Labeling Error

Posted on October 23, 2012

40 Eagle Premier Fifth Wheel recreational vehicle trailers of the 2013 model year are being recalled by Jayco due to their having the wrong specifications displayed on the label which relates cargo carrying capacity.  If someone were to mistakenly follow the directives of this erroneous label, the trailer could be overloaded, tires could fail, and a crash could become imminent.  Beginning in November, contact will be made with owners and free repairs will be offered.
