Ceres Students Identify Areas That Could be Hazardous for Pedestrians

Posted on October 22, 2012

The city of Ceres is attempting to improve pedestrian city in the area.  Around 1,000 kids from area schools are going to be walking to school this week with an eye toward figuring out what areas could pose hazards to persons on foot.  Parents and officials from the community will be on hand to make sure that the kids remain safe on their walk.  Free helmets, bikes, and backpacks will be given to those kids who win a raffle.
