Posted on October 19, 2012

Largo, Florida is the latest city attempting to improve bicycle safety throughout the area.  The Transportation Department of Florida has given the police over 1,000 LED taillights and headlights.  Area citizens will be able to get these lights installed on their bicycles.  The police have an ongoing effort to improve bike safety by warning those cyclists who are found to be riding without having the proper lights.  Violators will receive the light installation when they’re stopped.
