Headlight Defect Prompts Recall of Peterbilt and Kenworth Vehicles

Posted on October 19, 2012

Peterbilt 210 and 220 vehicles and Kenworth K370 and K270 vehicles, all of the 2012 and 2013 model years, are being recalled by Paccar due to a failure to comply with federal safety standards.  The defect is twofold:  when the headlights are turned on, the daytime running lights don’t turn off, and when the high beams are turned on, the fog lamps can mistakenly activate as well.  This could compromise the vision of incoming drivers.  Paccar will get in touch with owners of the 432 vehicles, and free repairs will be conducted.
