Valdosta State Students Participate in Texting While Driving Simulator

Posted on October 16, 2012

Students at Georgia’s Valdosta State were recently given the opportunity to learn about the dangers of texting behind the wheel. A PEERS Awareness texting and driving simulator was available to students last Monday, one of many stops on its college tour. The failure of many to adhere to speed limits and not hit cars and pedestrians brought the reality of the dangers home to students that took part in the simulations.
