The Essex District Attorney recently addressed the issue of distracted driving in front of the Peabody Rotary Club in Massachusetts. Those who text and drive are 23 times more likely to get into an accident. AT & T’s educational program “It Can Wait” seeks to dissuade drivers from texting behind the wheel. The DA became involved with the program in the hope of showing teenagers just how dangerous this behavior is.
