After police in Manchester, Massachusetts received a report that a vehicle driven by football players was speeding down a local thoroughfare, they decided to take action. At the officers’ request, athletes at Manchester Essex Regional High School will receive a lecture from their coaches about the dangers of speeding around the area at times when sporting events are taking place. Police are working with the coaches on this measure.
