Dutch Aire and Dutch Star Motorhomes Recalled Over Crash Risk

Posted on October 5, 2012

Dutch Aire and Dutch Star motorhomes of the 2008 through 2010 model years are being recalled due to an issue with the independent front suspension.  Newmar announced the recall, which affects 278 vehicles.  There might be contact between the suspension’s upper control arm and the front brake chambers.  The brakes could then drag, overheat, and engage unexpectedly, placing the driver in a potential crash situation.  Repairs will be conducted by Spartan Motors.
