A possible Salmonella contamination among Xan Confections products has led to the voluntary recall of 13 gourmet peanut butter chocolate items. There have been no reported illnesses.  Recalled items were made available between May 28 and September 28 and were sold at various outlets in eight states in the west and the south, as well as Nova Scotia. The recalled products include BigMouth, LadybuG, Peanut Butter Jewel, and Mini BigMouth.  All affected items should be brought back or simply thrown out.
