Cobalt Dive Computers Recalled by Atomic Aquatics Over Leakage Risk

Posted on October 4, 2012

Atomic Aquatics announced that it is recalling 4,200 Cobalt Dive Computers because the product can potentially leak.  This could cause the computer’s lens to dislodge at a high speed, which can result in an injury, a gas leak, or even drowning.  The units recalled are spread among the U.S. and Canada.  The recall comes on the heels of 23 leak reports that thankfully did not involve an injury.  Repairs are being given to consumers who bring the item to a dealer.
