Distracted Driving Simulator Comes to Mississippi State

Posted on October 3, 2012

A driving simulator will be at The Longest Student Health Center at Mississippi State University to show how dangerous it can be to text and drive at the same time.  There are an estimated 660,000 drivers on the road who are too busy with their phones to pay full attention to their driving, and students are encouraged to think before they join those numbers. The simulator will give students the feel of driving a real car and then vividly show how slow their reaction time can be when they are distracted.
