Automatic Braking Set to Roll Out With Next Lexus LS Models

Posted on October 1, 2012

The latest iteration of the Lexus LS includes an automatic braking system that aims to improve safety. The new technology is able to tell if the vehicle is about to collide with another automobile or a pedestrian and react in instances where the driver isn’t paying attention to what is in front of him or her. The technology operates off of radar and microwave systems. The car is capable of slowing itself down or stopping completely before the impact takes place.
