Report Offers Car Seat Safety Statistics and Tips to Parents

Some amazing statistics have been released about how much safer young children are in rear-facing child seats as opposed to front-facing ones. Children of ages one to two are five times as safe in a rear facing seat.  In a front facing seat in the event of a crash, whiplash is more likely and the seat belt often comes in contact with dangerous points on the child’s body.
