Princeton, Illinois Police Chief Happy With Distracted Driving Law

The Governor of Illinois has designated September as Texting and Driving Awareness Month. Illinois previously became the 17th State to ban the act of texting while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. The ban has not met with much resistance from people in Bureau County. In Princeton, the police chief says the community has not had to cope with extensive violations among citizens, and he hopes it stays that way.
