Peanut Butter Crunch Recalled by Chattanooga Bakery

Posted on September 26, 2012

Chattanooga Bakery has issued a recall on Peanut Butter Crunch due to potential health risks associated with the items. The source of the recall is the threat of a Salmonella Bredeney contamination, which has been confirmed in other peanut butter items available across 18 states.  At this time, however, none of the illnesses have been shown to coincide with the consumption of Peanut Butter crunch. Salmonella is an organism that can be fatal under the right circumstances.
