Montgomery, Alabama Set to Target Distracted Driving on September 19

On September 19, police in Montgomery city and county alike will be on the lookout for drivers texting while driving. The mayor of Montgomery, Alabama, supported the event in a recent news conference. A high school student from Brooker T. Washington will be handing out AT & T’s orange thumb rings to remind other teens not to text and drive and to remember that “It Can Wait.”
