“It Can Wait” Likely to Draw Support From Terrebonne Parish Council

Posted on September 25, 2012

The Chairwoman of the Terrebonne Parish Council in Louisiana will be introducing a resolution during the September 26 council meeting related to texting while driving. The council is likely to vote in favor of supporting AT & T’s “It Can Wait” campaign.  Approximately 48% of teenagers between 12 and 17 years of age have been in a car with a driver who was texting while operating the motor vehicle. Drivers who text present a hazard to their passengers and the drivers around them.
