44,668 Cheverolet Sonics of the 2012 model year are being recalled by GMC. The models were built between May 2011 and February 2012. The windshield wipers placed on these models fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The washer hose may separate from the fluid reservoir, preventing a person from using the fluid to clean the windshield. GMC is asking all owners with these models to bring the vehicles in to a dealer to have the issue fixed for free.
