Posted on September 26, 2012

As part of a national campaign aimed at educating everyone about the dangers of texting while driving, a Florida high school in Tampa recently had 1,800 students sign a pledge never to engage in the dangerous practice. The Wharton High School PTSA led a four-month project to upgrade its driver education program by incorporating information about texting into the curriculum. September 19, 2012 was “It Can Wait-No Texting While Driving” day.
