Daniella Mangos Sold at Stop & Shop Recalled for Salmonella Threat

Posted on September 6, 2012

Stop & Shop is recalling Daniella mangos produced by Splendid Products. The items being recalled were available for sale from July 12 to August 24.  The mangos are said to be potentially contaminated with salmonella.  The bacteria can severely compromise health and even cause death in children and the elderly. There have been no reports of illness in the United States so far, but there have been a few in Canada.  The company is asking that consumers return the product at once to the grocer that it was purchased from.
