300 XC70 and S80 Vehicles Recalled by Volvo For Crash Hazard

Posted on September 6, 2012

300 XC70 and S80 vehicles of the 2013 model year have been recalled by Volvo due to a glitch in the Central Electronic Module. The message that warns drivers of under-inflated tires will not be turned on because of an error that occurs after 15 minutes of driving over 25 miles per hour. This could lead to drivers traveling on tires that don’t have the appropriate amount of air, which can cause crashes or blowouts.  Free repairs can be had from dealers once Volvo contacts affected owners.
