In Warwickshire, Great Britain, officials are asking parents to talk to their kids about the importance of pedestrian safety. They hope that parental influence can go a long way toward keeping kids safe as they head back to school. It’s been suggested that parents practice the route to school with their children and stress the necessity of stopping and looking both ways prior to crossing a street. Kids are also cautioned to minimize distractions.
