Malibu Citizens Gather to Discuss Pedestrian Safety Measures

Posted on September 20, 2012

In Malibu, a recent city hall meeting drew a number of attendees concerned about how local officials would spend a $375,000 safety study grant.  Crosswalks were singled out in particular by persons who attended, with one person drawing attention to a trouble area where over 100 collisions have taken place.  Motorcyclists and bicyclists also showed up to make their case for improvements that would benefit those types of motorists.  All safety concerns focused on the Pacific Coast Highway.
