Hawaii Governor Vows to Refrain From Texting Behind the Wheel

The governor of the state of Hawaii says that he supports an anti-texting while driving effort. He made a promise not to text and drive at the same time, although he himself doesn’t even drive. The practice of texting behind the wheel is illegal in the state. Honolulu police ran a ticketing period focused on distracted drivers recently and issued 138 citations in less than four hours.
