Texting While Driving Simulator Brought to Muncie Teenagers

Posted on September 19, 2012

Recently, students at Southside High School in Muncie, Indiana were invited to learn the dangers of distracted driving via virtual driving simulators. In the state, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 17 to use a handheld device, such as a cell phone, while driving. Despite the law, some teens still text and drive. This event showed students just how dangerous the act can be without actually putting them on the road.
