The California Highway Patrol is hosting a community event at their Woodland office to help parents learn how to transport their children around much more safely. Parents are being asked to drop by this Saturday for a free child safety seat check-up. The CHP is calling in technicians to help parents properly install car seats and then advise them on future purchases so that their children can be as as safe as possible.
