Listeria Threat Prompts Recall of Seafood From 3fish

Posted on September 17, 2012

The Gastonia, North Carolina-based 3fish is recalling seafood cakes and fish stuffed with crab because it is believed that they might contain Listeria monocytogenes. This bacterium can cause dangerous infections in small children and the elderly, as well as those whose immune systems have been weakened. The items were available along the East Coast at a variety of retail locations. A full refund will be given to those persons who bring the product back to where they bought it.
