Vermeer is issuing a recall on 18 drilling fluid reclaimer trailers produced between March 1, 2010 and August 3 of this year. There is an issue where the air brake hose can sustain damage. This can result in the brakes not functioning correctly and thus endangering anyone onboard or in the path of the compromised vehicle. Beginning around September 27, owners will be contacted and dealers will begin providing free repairs.
