Mother Affected by Tragedy Urges Florida to Consider Cellphone Ban

A Naples, Florida mother whose pregnant daughter was killed by a distracted driver is working to change her state’s laws regarding driving while using a cellphone. She will be taking part in a November summit in Tampa that will attempt to raise awareness, especially among Florida legislators, about the dangers of distracted driving. Right now, there is no ban on using a cellphone when driving in Florida.
