Garfield County, Oklahoma Holds Car Seat Check to Promote Safety

Automobile accidents account for more deaths of children under age 13 than any other tragedy. According to the NHTSA, every day in 2010 saw approximately two children under age 12 die in an automobile accident and another 352 become injured. Using the correct car seat can prevent your child from adding to those statistics. That’s why Garfield County, Oklahoma plans to hold a car seat safety check at a local fire station on September 19.
