160 Dry Freight Trailers Recalled by Strick Over Possible Crash Risk

Posted on September 13, 2012

Strick Trailers has announced the recall of 160 dry freight single-axle trailers of the 2006 through 2012 model years.  The recall is due to the suspension assembly on the sub-frame possibly becoming worn and falling off. This could cause vehicle instability resulting in a higher likelihood of a crash taking place. The company will notify customers, but at this time, there is no word on when the recall is going to start or what repairs will consist of.
