Villa Rica Mayor Vetoes Cellphone Ban, But Council Won’t Give Up

The Villa Rica City Council in Georgia recently passed a bill banning the use of a cellphone while driving unless the driver has a hands-free device. Unfortunately, the mayor of Villa Rica vetoed the bill.  The council didn’t give up, though, and will be looking at another bill. The new bill will potentially outlaw using a phone while driving as well as all sorts of other distractions, including personal grooming and eating.
