Taupo, New Zealand wants to ensure that anyone riding a motorcycle in the area is prepared to drive safely. To that end, the District Council will be offering training lessons to inexperienced riders or those who have their licenses restricted in some way. Maintenance, braking, and hazard detection tips will be offered to entrants. The Road Safety Coordinator for the council also stresses the need to wear the proper safety gear.
