Visalia Motorcycle Safety Operation Nets 24 Violations

Posted on August 31, 2012

Officers with the Visalia Police Department in California cited 24 people during a motorcycle safety operation that took place Tuesday night.  The six hour event found an increased police presence in areas where motorcycle traffic is particularly heavy.  32 people were stopped in total, with all but four being vehicles other than motorcycles.  Four licensing violations were discovered, but there were no drunk driving arrests made, despite focus being placed on that offense.
