Uniroyal Laredo and BF Goodrich Tires Recalled for Separation Hazard

Posted on August 1, 2012

Nearly 800,000 tires are being recalled because of the threat of separation at the edge of the belt/tread.  Uniroyal Laredo HD/H and BF Goodrich Commercial T/A A/S tires are the affected models.  Should separation occur while a vehicle is being driven, the tire would quickly lose air and increase the risk that a crash would take place.  BF Goodrich and Uniroyal will be in touch with owners, and tire replacement will be conducted by dealers.
