Tree House Studio Clear Acrylic Matte Coating Recalled for Fire Risk

Posted on August 30, 2012

Sherwin-Williams has announced the recall of Tree House Studio Clear Acrylic Matte Coating, which was only sold at Hobby Lobby retail locations. The product was packaged in an 11 ounce white aerosol can. The recall is based on the possibility of the aerosol canister leaking, which can create a fire hazard if such a leak takes place near an open flame. No injuries have been reported thus far.  Owners can get in touch with Sherwin-Williams to get their money back.
