This past weekend, visitors to the Wisconsin State HOG Rally in Rothschild were able to take part in educational events offered by the state DOT’s Motorcycle Safety Program. Referred to simply as THE REF, or not so simply as the Transportable High-End Rider Education Facility, the facility allowed participants to test their motorcycle smarts with a touch screen quiz. The facility also offered driving simulators and a 90 minute introductory course using one of three training motorcycles.
