Sauce and Dressing Recalled by Ken’s Food Due to Listeria Hazard

Posted on August 2, 2012

A recall has been announced by Ken’s Foods on a variety of sauces and dressings because each of the items uses Gills Onions as an ingredient, and those onions might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.  Affected items include Fatz Tartar Sauce, Golden Corral Tartar Sauce, Ken’s Tartar Sauce, Lee’s Cole Slaw Dressing, and Dickey’s BBQ Bean Sauce.  The company has spoken to retailers about a withdrawal of the items from shelves.  The products were sold in 16 states.
