Thanks to a grant bestowed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and administered by California’s Office of Traffic Safety, Rialto will implement a motorcycle safety operation. The Police Department will be sending officers to those areas of the city where motorcyclists can be seen most often. Special attention will be placed on cracking down on drunk drivers, but officers will also be on the lookout for anyone violating laws in ways that might compromise motorcycle safety.
