OSHA Comes Down on New Hampshire Contractors For Safety Violations

Merrimack Premium Outlets opened this past June in New Hampshire, but during an inspection that took place this past January, OSHA officials ascertained that a wide variety of violations may have taken place in constructing the site.  The workplace safety organization alleges that construction workers were exposed to high falls and shock hazards, that inspections weren’t carried out properly, and that fire extinguishers were not readily available.  $173,000 worth of fines could be imposed against the contractors accused of the violations.
