Orillia, Ontario Concerned About Skateboards and Bikes on Sidewalks

The citizens of Orillia, Ontario are growing increasingly concerned about pedestrian safety as skateboards and bikes become more prevalent.  Many worry that these conveyances could endanger someone who happens to be walking on the sidewalk on foot.  Even though bikes and skateboards have been outlawed from sidewalks, awareness might be low, which is why the police services board recommends posting signs alerting citizens to the law.  Enforcement might also be increased to promote safety.
