The Canadian Automobile Association, The Ontario Provincial Police, and other safety partners are teaming up to educate Ontario drivers about the potentially fatal risks of driving while distracted. The month-long campaign launches on August 1st and encourages drivers to focus on the road rather than text messages, cell phones, GPS devices, and lower-tech distractions such as eating, smoking, or drinking. The campaign is designed to lower collisions and fatalities.
