Ecology Action’s transportation program specialist is warning bicyclists of all ages to wear a helmet when they go out for a ride. She states that not only is it safe, but that adults can provide a good example to children. She says even though it isn’t necessarily against the law to not wear one, it’s simply the right thing to do. The importance of a helmet that fits is also stressed.
