AT & T employees in Wheeling, West Virginia are helping to kick off the “It Can Wait” program designed to stop texting while driving. They are donning t-shirts, directing customers to the website www.itcanwait.com, and asking customers in-store to sign a pledge not to text and drive. The effort is focused on teenagers and parents alike. AT & T is trying to raise awareness about the grim statistics surrounding texting while driving.
