Investigation Launched Into Emergency Vehicle Distractions in Texas

Research was recently conducted to determine how distracted driving affects emergency vehicles. The research, which was based in and pertains to Texas, concluded that about three crashes a month occur among emergency vehicles due to distracted driving, with an astonishing 70 such crashes taking place over two years. This could be a serious problem for the safety of the citizens driving on the roads and those being transported in such vehicles. The data was taken from police departments across the state and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
