Infiniti JX35 SUV Under Investigation by NHTSA For E-Brake Issues

Posted on August 3, 2012

The Infiniti JX35 sport utility vehicle of the 2013 model year (the first model year available) is under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  The NHTSA has received two complaints which claimed that the emergency brake suddenly activated during normal operation.  If a recall is eventually issued because of the investigation, it would affect around 8,000 automobiles.  Nissan says there is no safety issue.
