FDA Webinar Educates Public on Pesticide Monitoring Activities

Yesterday, the Food and Drug Administration held a webinar meant to educate interested parties on how the organization monitors the food supply so as to protect consumers from coming into contact with dangerous levels of pesticides.  Fruits and vegetables make up about three quarters of the food that the FDA verifies does not contain heightened pesticide levels.  The only exception is meat and poultry, which don’t get monitored.
