Jayco has announced the recall of 300 trailers produced between October 24, 2011 and July 3 of this year because of the potential for axle failure caused by the installation of oversized bearings. This can create a potential crash hazard. This recall applies to Jay Flight Swift SLX travel trailers of the 2012 and 2013 model years. Jayco dealers will make the necessary repairs at no charge. Owners will be contacted at some point this month.
